Voting in Figjam

Figjam is a tool that I am constantly finding more and more ways to use it in the classroom, and in my work with other teachers. I was asked if it could do a voting activity and of course there was an easy way to vote or rank topics in Figjam.

All you need is a simple Figjam, I suggest using the Brainstorm template, and put all of the topics or items you want people to vote on into the sticky notes. Once you have all of your choices, you can then start the voting tool and let people vote as many times as you selected. This would be a great way to have students rank the top questions they have, topics they want to learn about, or just what type of activities they would like to do next. You can use this with other teachers to rank essential learnings, pick the pizza toppings for a staff get together, or just to choose the top words from a list for an activity around SEL.

Watch the video below to see how easy it is to do this and if you have not yet signed up for your education access to Figjam, just go to the Figjam Education site to do that today and get those premium features.
