Collaboration Tools

One of the greatest areas that digital tools allow us to improve revolves around collaboration in the classroom.  Technology in the classroom can help us more easily collaborate with our students and have our students collaborate with each other and with other people.

Google Apps allow us to collaborate in ways that were not easily possible before.  We can collaborate when not in the same location or even available at the same time.  A teacher could work with their students even when that teacher is not in the classroom.  I have used collaboration tools to assist my students with their learning even when I was out of my classroom due to professional obligations.
