SmartChips in Google Docs – Great tools if you have them

In the last couple of years, Google has added a lot of functionality to Google Docs by incorporating tools that can be used in highly effective ways. One tool that I think many people are not fully aware of are the Smart chips. Smart chips are ways to better insert information like dates, people, places, or to have additional tools like timers, vote counters, and stopwatches.

Now one big caveat with this is that not all Smart chips are available to all users. If you are using a personal and free account, you will not see the same as if you are using a Workspace account. Most schools use the free version of the Workspace accounts but if your school has a more premium version, you usually get access to the new features earlier so not everyone will see the same exact options.

Watch the following video to see what you can do with Smart chips and how it can look different between 2 different accounts.
