Getting Started with Google+ (In and Out of the Classroom)

While Google+ has not been a huge hit with the general public, it has been used extensively in the classroom environments.  Using Google+ you can increase communication and collaboration in and out of the classroom.  You can connect with other educators or groups of educators to share and collaborate or you can even create your own class Community to serve as a sort of LMS.  Since we are a GAFE school, it is easy to connect with students and extend the learning beyond the 45 minutes we get each day.

The following videos will help you get started but the key to learning is to start and then play around with it.  Start with your profile and then start connecting with others.  Find learning communities you want to join and see what others are posting online.
