As our new school laptops do not have Microsoft Office installed, many people are going to have to learn how to use tools that are readily available to do what they were doing before. We have LibreOffice installed on the computers and of course we have access to Google Drive. Both of these allow us to pretty much do everything we did before, even adding some functionality when it comes to Google Drive. The video below will show you how you can quickly get started but there is more coming down the road. The new Google Drive, which will be rolling out this fall, will even allow you to edit Office files directly in Drive without converting them. You can find out more about that at http://googledrive.blogspot.com/2014/06/newdocssheetsslides.html.
